Adeline did her "fine motor skills" craft - another gluing project which she loved! She "hid" a monkey behind tall grass.
Peek-a-boo!
I'm not great about having Adeline help in the kitchen. I know it's a good thing to do, but I often don't have the patience. It's my new goal to have Adeline help make something at least twice a week. A couple days ago she helped make chicken noodle soup. Yesterday, we got in another kitchen activity. Before supper, we made an after-dinner treat - Popcorn Lollipops. We skipped the actual "lollipop" part. It was a very messy recipe, but Adeline was able to do most of it herself. She even got in a little math counting out caramels and marshmallows. And boy are they good!!! The only thing I'd do different next time is make two batches!
